Albergo Centrale is a small but very cosy hotel situated in the picturesque square of the old part of the town, with a view over the Cridola and Monfalconi Dolomite group. The recently restored building dates back to 1840. Inside in fact, you can still admire the old parts that are in perfect harmony with the new ones, beautiful ceilings with exposed beams dating back to the 19th century blend perfectly with the stone walls, which are a characteristic of the old houses of Forni di Sopra.
Its 14 rooms with wooden furnishings all have a TV, a telephone, en-suite bathroom facilities and almost all of them have a balcony. The proprietors of the hotel also prepare the food and the menu boasts a variety of dishes which are put together paying special attention to the traditions of Carnia and Friuli, with extensive use of wild herbs and local mushrooms. The central location of this hotel allows for easy access to sports facilities, beautiful walks in the valley floor or indeed at high altitude. The hotel is managed by the Coradazzi family and is especially recommended for lovers of traditional home cooking and for those seeking a peaceful and welcoming family atmosphere.
