A green meadow that blends in with the thick forest that surrounds it, the splendid peaks of the Friulian Dolomites that rise up beyond the tips of the trees that frame Forni di Sopra, regular sightings of deer and roe - this is the landscape that you will observe from 'Massaroul', a small, cosy restaurant that proposes a cuisine based mostly on typical local dishes. Massaroul is also the name given to a 'Sbilf', a jolly little gnome who is said to live and hide in the forests around the restaurant. The restaurant is immersed in the green forest of the Massaroul district and this creates a somewhat magical atmosphere, which is almost fairytale-like. Marco, the manager, who has extensive experience in this field, has taken great care to ensure attention to even the tiniest detail, so much so that he has managed to give this restaurant a characteristic that blends a sense of intimacy and flavour. |
